Indianapolis at Minnesota (-3½, 47½): The Colts are on a 2-5 spread slide and a 14-4 under run. The Vikings are 10-3 straight-up but only 6-6-1 ATS. Minnesota is on a 3-0 over streak. Edge: Under.

Baltimore at Cleveland (-3, 37½): The Ravens have covered the last three meetings at Cleveland. Baltimore is 5-2 straight-up and ATS on the road this season and is on an 8-2 under run. The Browns are on a 3-0 under streak. Edge: Ravens and under.

Miami at Buffalo (-7½, 43½): The Dolphins beat the Bills 21-19 in September in Florida. But trips to Buffalo have been historically harsh on Miami, which has lost nine of the last 10 meetings there while going 2-8 ATS. The Dolphins are on an 0-5-1 ATS slide away from home this season. The Bills have a 10-3 under mark this season. Edge: Bills and under.

Louisville (-1½, 41½) vs. Cincinnati — Fenway Bowl: Interesting coaching dynamics, with former Cardinals coach Scott Satterfield now at Cincinnati. Louisville is 2-4 ATS in its past six bowls. Five of the past six Cardinals games stayed under the total. The Bearcats are 2-2 straight up and ATS in their past four bowls. Cincinnati was 3-8 ATS this season and is 6-13 ATS since mid-2021. Edge: Louisville and under.

Brigham Young vs. Southern Methodist (-5½, 64) — New Mexico Bowl: The Cougars are 3-2 straight up and 2-3 ATS in bowls under coach Kalani Stake. BYU is on a 4-11 ATS skid, though 10 of its past 14 games have gone over the total. The Mustangs are making their first bowl appearance since 2019 and were 5-7 ATS this season. Edge: Over.

Fresno State (-3½, 53) vs. Washington State — LA Bowl: The Bulldogs closed with eight consecutive straight-up wins, going 6-2 ATS and covering the final three. The Cougars are 1-4 straight up and 0-5 ATS in their past five bowls. Washington State is on a 16-6 ATS run, and the total has stayed under in 10 of its past 13 games. Edge: Fresno State and under.

Rice vs. Southern Mississippi (-6½, 46½) — LendingTree Bowl: Before this season, these teams played in Conference USA, with the Owls winning and covering each of the past two seasons. Rice is 5-2 in its past seven as an underdog. The Golden Eagles are 7-1 ATS in their past eight away from home and on a 12-3 ATS streak. Rice was on a 12-1 over run before landing under in the final three games, while the total has gone over in nine of the Golden Eagles past 14 games. Edge: Southern Miss and over.
Florida vs. Oregon State (-10, 52½) — Las Vegas Bowl: The Gators failed to cover bowl games each of the past three seasons, though Oregon State hasn’t won or covered a bowl game since 2013. Florida covered four of its final five and was 5-0 as an underdog. The Beavers are 10-2 ATS this season and 7-2 ATS in their past nine against non-Pac-12 foes. Edge: Oregon State.

Boise State (-11, 58½) vs. North Texas — Frisco Bowl: The Broncos are 2-4-1 ATS in their past seven away from home and went 0-4 ATS this season outside of the Mountain West. The Mean Green are 1-4 straight up and 2-3 ATS in their past five bowls to go with a 13-7 spread uptick since last season. Edge: North Texas.

This is a huge game for the vikings i think they get it done and cover.
Yeah, somehow everyone keeps talking about how overated Vikes are and they finally lose to a hot Detroit team....but Colts had the week off and I guess everyone forgot how bad they are....

If this game were last week the line would be 6-7.

12/17 SATURDAY

FAIRGROUNDS possible rain today
R1 - #6 Honeysuckledelight (5-2) on the improve since the freshening - finally maturing?
R2 - #6 Big Scully (4-1) was highly thought of as a 2yo, running at Saratoga in The Hopeful. Now you can have him for $12.5k. If it does rain I like his chances even more.
R3 - #6 Greeley Went West (7-2) finally back to the perfect surface and distance.
R4 - #5 Lightning Struck (9-2) big drop in class and a jockey upgrade - pace should suit him.
R5 - #2 Stockpiler (7-2) BEST BET, only worry is the #7 (lone speed) but he's more likely to fold in this long stretch.
R6 - #1 Moment (5-2) another race where the main competition is bound to tire out late. If the speed is holding today I'm dead.
R7 - #3 Ready For Change (6-1) the rail horse looks like the nuts, but at what price? this one loves the track but does have to deal with ice-cold Beschizza.
R8 - #8 Pipes and Drums (10-1) taking another shot with a solid closer - praying he is feeling frisky after the freshening.
R9 - #6 Star Ready (12-1) first time for a tag, first time Lasix, and first time gelded. Not sure who this jockey is but it could be his first time on a horse as well...

Minny ML -195……. 50/24.50

Browns- Ravens under 38.5 ……44/40

I don’t see a bad loss for the Vikings, in terms of losing teams, etc…of course they have had trouble pulling away from anyone…I think they will wrap up the division today…I seriously need to stop this losing streak!

I see the Ravens pounding it 40+ times trying to win with their defense, no matter who is at QB…we will see if Watson shakes off more rust today?…line seems fishy or I would be on the Ravens…need punts and FG’s!

good luck!
